China: Man saves girl hanging from window

Posted:

CHINA (CNN)-- Heart-stopping images out of China show a young girl dangling off the side of a building, four stories up.
It happened in Shandong province last week.
Apparently she had been left home alone, and tried to crawl out the window, getting her head stuck in the bars.
A neighbor heard her cries while walking down the street, looked up, and saw the tragedy that was about to unfold.
He rushed up to the apartment next door, grabbed a mop, and used it to hold the girl in place for more than 10 minutes.
The girl's parents returned home and pulled her back inside, frightened but unhurt.
