Vice President Joe Biden to talk about economy in Detroit
DETROIT (AP) -- Vice President Joe Biden plans to talk about the economy next week in Detroit -- days after his wife came to the area with President Barack Obama to press the case for free community college.
Biden's office said Friday he will be in Detroit on Thursday and then travel to Columbus, Ohio, where he'll discuss a campaign to prevent sexual assault on college campuses. No additional details were released.
Jill Biden traveled with Obama Wednesday to Macomb Community College. They announced an independent College Promise Advisory Board that she will help lead.
Joe Biden is considering a run for president. Complicating his decision are emotional aftershocks from the recent death of his son, Beau, from brain cancer.
