School bus driver charged with drunken driving

SIREN, Wis. (AP) -- A Siren school bus driver faces drunken driving charges after authorities say he was found passed out in a bus just before he was scheduled to pick up a volleyball team.
WEAU-TV reports Jeramia Marek was arrested on Sept. 8. The Polk County Sheriff's Office says he was found in a bus that was parked near the Luck Schools. He was on his way to pick up the Siren volleyball team and bring them back to Siren.
Court records show the 39-year-old Marek was charged Friday. Online records do not list a defense attorney to comment on his behalf.
The sheriff's office says Marek failed field sobriety tests and had a blood-alcohol content that was twice the legal limit for driving.
