Man sought in Kenosha County homicide eludes authorities

BRISTOL, Wis. (AP) -- A man being sought in a suspected homicide in Kenosha County continues to elude authorities.

The 32-year-old Bristol man is linked to new reports of a gas station burglary, an armed robbery at a convenience store, a crashed stolen SUV and a cargo van theft.

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department said Sunday the suspect allegedly crashed the SUV while being chased by sheriff's deputies. But he still managed to run away and steal the cargo van.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports it's the second police chase involving the suspect in less than two days as authorities try to catch and question him in the death of 37-year-old Tywon Anderson.

Anderson was reported missing Sept. 19. His body was found last weekend in a Kenosha County cornfield off Highway A.
