MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Two judges who have been previously appointed by Gov. Scott Walker and a longtime Madison attorney have all applied for a vacancy on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Walker's office on Monday released the names of those who applied with Walker to be appointed to fill out the final 10 months on Justice Patrick Crooks' term.
Only one applicant, Appeals Court Judge Rebecca Bradley, is also running for a full 10-year term on the court in next year's spring election.
The two others seeking appointment are Madison attorney Claude Covelli and Jim Troupis, who Walker appointed in May as Dane County Circuit judge until August 2016. Bradley had twice been appointed to judicial vacancies by Walker.
Walker's office says he will conduct interviews this week.
