CNN (WAOW)-- A symbol of the 911 attacks in New York is lit up Friday in solidarity with France.
Governor Andrew Cuomo directed One World Trade center to be lit in blue, white and red after terror attacks left dozens dead in Paris.
New York police have increased their presence in the wake of the terror attacks.
Police say extra security will be stationed outside the French Consulate and at other high-profile locations with French connections.
