Harley-Davidson of Wausau creates motorcycle for national contest

On Saturday, Harley-Davidson of Wausau unveiled the customized motorcycle they created to compete in a nationwide contest.

The "Custom Kings" contest is being held by Harley-Davidson, with dealerships submitting their best designs from all over the country.

So far, the Wausau dealership has made it into the top 64 best designs nationally with their amped up "Sportster."

The crew had less than two months to design the black and copper bike under an $18,000 budget, which they used almost all of.

"We'd actually like everyone to go to Harley-Davidson's website starting March 1st and vote for our custom bike." said Kevin Link from the Wausau dealership. "It's called 'The Copperheaded Stepchild."

The winning bike will be displayed in the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee for a year.

To vote for Wausau's Harley-Davidson to make it to the next round, click here starting March 1st.
