Badgers football begins spring workouts on hallowed ground

The Badgers packed up their gear, shipped out of Madison and made their way over to Green Bay today to practice at the Packers' Don Hutson Center.
The Badgers were given the opportunity after working a deal with the Packers to play their first game of the season on Sept. 3 against lSU on legendary Lambeau Field.
The practice didn't necessarily hold game prep value, but the experience was one of a kind.
''It was kind of fun to walk in and see the banners, and the great teams which were made up of great players and great coaches so its really cool for a football fan,' Badgers' head football coach Paul Chryst said.
''I remember looking through those practice doors and seeing the Packers play," said Badgers linebacker Vince Biegel, a Wisconsin Rapids native. "I thought that was just the coolest moment ever and that those guys must be pretty cool so to be able to go out there and practice where clay matthews, rodgers, and the green bay packers practice, its a very surreal moment and its something that a lot of the guys were looking forward to and im very glad we were able to do that.''

The Badgers' annual spring game will be held back in Madison at Camp Randall on April 23rd.
