Pointers softball falls to UW-La Crosse in home opener

STEVENS POINT, Wis- The UW-Stevens Point softball team dropped both games of a doubleheader in the teams home opener with UW-La Crosse, falling by scores of 5-2, and 4-2 at McCarty Memorial field.

The Pointers will return to action on Sunday, April 17 facing another WIAC opponent in UW-River Falls in a double header. Start times are set for 1 pm and 3 pm at McCarty Memorial field.
