'Teen suicide reading materials' found in Antigo teen's home

ANTIGO (WAOW) - Within hours of a shooting outside the Antigo High School prom, police searched the home of the 18-year-old shooter and seized 33 items, included what was described as "teen suicide reading materials," according to Langlade County court records reviewed Tuesday.

The home on Superior Street where Jakob Wagner lived with his mother was searched Sunday in an investigation of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, the records indicate.

Here's some of the items seized:

--A gun sling.

--Empty 7.62-caliber ammunition box.

--Teen suicide reading materials.

--Notebooks with pictures and journal.--Apple iPod

--Dell Computer.

--Notebook with drawings.

--Spent 7.62-caliber and .44-caliber rounds.

--Playstation 4.

--Nike shoe box with notes.

--Cell phones.

--Letter from Antigo School District to Wagner's parents.

--One knife made of wood.

--Acer computer.

--Wagner's Antigo school ID card.

A police officer fatally shot Wagner "multiple times" after he wounded two prom-goers late Saturday night, the search warrant request says. Wagner died early Sunday morning at a hospital.

Police said Wagner, who graduated from Antigo High School last spring, rode a bicycle to the school, carrying the rifle he used in shooting.
