Packers legend Brett Favre was in Madison today for a charity golf event at University Ridge Golf Course put on by the PGA Champions Tour.
No. 4 was joined on the greens by former Packer and Badger Mark Tauscher, event host Steve Stricker, and two-time U.S. Open Champion Andy North.
"It was awesome, it really was," the soon-to-be Hall-of-Famer said. "Steve [Stricker] and Andy [North]... you're not going to find two nicer guys. What we were here for is extremely important... Just an amazing crowd. I'm not surprised a bit. This will be the most successful stop on the seniors tour, I can promise you that..."
The foursome hit the course for a nine-hole celebrity scramble -- all for a good cause, as all the proceeds from the event, which began on Wednesday and will run through tomorrow, will go to various charities through the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation.
