Walker says he hasn't been invited to speak at convention
PEWAUKEE, Wis. (AP) -
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker says he has not been invited to speak at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland next month and he doesn't know if he will get a slot.
Walker told reporters Monday in Pewaukee that whether he speaks this year "all depends on what the parameters are." He says, "If I can talk about my concerns about Hillary Clinton then I'll probably talk about that."
Walker will be attending the convention as a delegate bound to vote for Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who won Wisconsin's primary. Walker has hedged on his endorsement of presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump in recent weeks.
Walker says, "I don't know who is speaking exactly besides someone running for president and someone running for vice president."
