WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) - Wondering what "alt-right" means?
There's a hashtag for that, but the results aren't always pretty.
People in the niche conservative movement are using #AltRightMeans to slam Muslims, immigrants who are in the U.S. illegally and others they see as a threat to their vision of America.
Critics are using the hashtag too, to expose what they see as bigotry.
#AltRightMeans quickly became a popular Twitter topic Thursday as Democrat Hillary Clinton used a Nevada speech to link the "alt-right" movement to Donald Trump's rise as a presidential candidate.
Trump's campaign says he's never used the term "alt-right" and disavows "any groups or individuals associated with a message of hate."
