MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Donald Trump's Wisconsin director is calling on Democratic Senate candidate Russ Feingold to say whether Hillary Clinton's actions as secretary of state were ethical. Trump's state director Pete Meachum issued a statement Thursday injecting himself into Feingold's Senate race against Republican Sen. Ron Johnson. Meachum is asking Feingold to say whether he thinks Clinton acted ethically with regard to the Clinton Foundation while she was secretary of state. Feingold suggested Wednesday that if elected president, Clinton and her family should considering shutting down the foundation. Feingold campaign spokesman Michael Tyler says in response that Trump is rushing to defend Johnson. He says Trump has a platform of "racism, sexism and sleazy business practices." Tyler says he expects to see Johnson campaign with Trump the next time he's in the state.
