Wake Up Wisconsin says farewell to anchor Josh Holland

The Newsline 9 family said good bye to Wake Up Wisconsin anchor Josh Holland Thursday.

Josh is stepping away from the anchor desk to focus on his family, but he has no plans to leave central Wisconsin.

Josh came to Wausau as a sports reporter nearly three years ago, and he said his time here was supposed to be brief.

"I was supposed to be in Wausau for two years, then on to bigger and better," Josh said on Thursday's Wake Up Wisconsin. "I quickly realized that bigger and better for me meant staying in Wausau."

He may no longer be a part of Newsline 9, but he will still be a part of the Wausau community.

"(I) found a family at my local church, and got the privilege to meet so many of you while I hopped around local restaurants, the gym and so many unique events in central Wisconsin," Josh said. "It's an honor to be in the community and hear that you watch wake up everyday."

If you see Josh around he said to be sure to say hi and ask him questions.
