Hundreds of people headed to Sunnyvale Park in Wausau Saturday afternoon for the annual Polar Plunge.
Group by group people jumped into the icy cold waters of man made lake.
The money raised benefits the Special Olympics. The plunge Saturday is one of 11 that take place throughout the state.
Last year they raised $90,000.
One year after a deadly shooting rampage in Marathon County, the community and businesses honored the four lives lost in different ways.
