GREEN BAY (WAOW) -

Rodgers is leaving the Green Bay Packers.

No, not that Rodgers. Tight end Richard Rodgers has agreed to a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, ending his four-year career with the Packers.

Rodgers' best year came in 2015, when he caught 58 passes, including eight touchdowns. During that season, he was also on the receiving end of one of the most memorable plays in Packers history: The "Miracle in Motown," when he caught a 61-yard "Hail Mary" touchdown from Aaron Rodgers on an un-timed down to give Green Bay a win over the Detroit Lions.

Since then, Rodgers has been resigned to a reserve role. In the two seasons since his strong 2015 campaign, Rodgers has just 42 catches and three touchdowns. In 2018, he would once again have been a backup behind new-signee Jimmy Graham and Lance Kendricks.

The Eagles announced the signing on Twitter Wednesday afternoon:
