Central Wisconsinites hoping for a temperate Spring weekend were let down with Saturday's snowfall.
Wausau residents who were hoping for sunshine had to bring out their shovels and plows instead.
"I was really hoping to be out golfing, now it doesn't look like that is happening anytime soon," said Kurt Ellison.
The story was similar for Bob Schneider.
"I'm waiting for summer, I want to get out on the lake and fishing and get the boat out and enjoy it with family," he said. "I'm waiting for summer to get here, this is getting very frustrating."
Both Ellison and Schneider have been residents of central Wisconsin for most of their lives.
Even though they are used to the cold temperatures, they said this winter is dragging on.
