MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WAOW) -

A former Sheboygan Co. man was sentenced to more than 11 years in federal prison Monday for possession of child pornography, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Richard L. Kraemer, 47, was charged with five counts of distribution of child porn, plus another count of possession. The FBI found child porn made available by Kraemer on five separate dates, the release said

The release also says further investigation from Kraemer's home showed he possessed images of children as young as six months old.

“Protecting our nation’s children is a top priority for the U.S. Department of Justice," said U.S. Attorney Matthew Krueger. "This lengthy sentence should serve as a warning to other predators.”

Per the release, Kraemer's 133-month prison term will be followed by eight years of supervised release.

Kraemer was previously convicted of first degree and second degree sexual assault by the State of Wisconsin.
