GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) -

A Green Bay man who had thousands of images and video of child porn on his laptop has reached a plea agreement with federal prosecutors.

Lucas DaPra has agreed to plead guilty to two charges in the federal indictment--count one for taking video of an underage girl; and count three for possessing child pornography.

On May 3, 2018, officers executed a search warrant at DaPra's Green Bay home. They took his laptop, desktop computer and several cell phones.

A forensic examiner discovered about 12,900 child pornography photos and movie files on the laptop, according to federal prosecutors.

Prosecutors say DaPra had videos of a girl under age 12 performing sex acts with an adult male.

Investigators also found child pornography videos "that appeared to have been produced by DaPra," according to federal court records.

It was discovered that DaPra had recorded video of a young girl who had been staying with the family.

As part of DaPra's agreement to plead guilty to two counts, the government is dismissing other charges in the indictment.

The government and the defense have agreed to recommend a sentence of 15 years in prison for count one and 10 years in prison for count three. The terms would run concurrently, meaning he'd serve them at the same time.

Both sides also agreed to 20 years of extended supervision when DaPra is released from federal prison.
