WAOW-TV, the ABC affiliate, in Wausau, WI is seeking a take-charge leader to help guide us to a future that goes well beyond traditional broadcast news.  WAOW-TV is seeing a full-time Internet Director. 

We are committed to being the number #1 overall favorite media destination for news and information in Central Wisconsin.  The Internet Director is a key journalist in our newsroom who is responsible for leading our efforts to push compelling content online, on air, to mobile and social media platforms. 

Ideal candidates are self-starters who work well with minimal supervision, motivate team members, adapt to flexible schedules and thrive in a deadline driven environment.  A college degree in journalism or related field supports the expectation of solid news judgment, writing skills and knowledge of AP style.  Experience with the iNews, WorldNow platform and web-related software a plus.
