On the 2 year anniversary of Deidre Harm's death, her family speaks out

WISCONSIN RAPIDS (WAOW) -- Not a day goes by that Scott Harm doesn't think about his daughter and the person who killed her.

"It's kind of like a puzzle now. We're trying to put all the pieces together," says Scott Harm, Deidre's father.

Pieces like this sketch of a person of interest.

"The person that is depicted in the sketch was in the finish line the night Deidre Harm went missing. This person is a person of interest. We're not saying he's a suspect, but it is someone that was talking with Deidre at the bar," says Sgt. Shawn Becker of the Wood County Sheriff's Department.

And while no arrests have been made police are staying optimistic.

"It's not going to be something that's going to go away. The only time it's going to go away is once we get some resolution to it and that's not only for the law enforcement agency, but it's for the family," says Becker.

Scott isn't giving up hope either, hoping someday the person who murdered his daughter will be caught, so he and his granddaughter can have some closure.

"She's almost two and a half now and I have guardianship over her but she's got the right to know what happened to her mom as much as I want to know what happened to my daughter," says Harm.
