ROTHSCHILD -- A merger between two major paper companies is now final.
Domtar and Weyerhauser paper companies have combined to create the largest fine-paper manufacturing facility in the world.
The new company is called Domtar Corporation, and it will be headquartered in Montreal.
Domtar holds mills in Port Edwards and Nekoosa, and Weyerhauser has a plant in Rothschild.
The new company has a combined 14 thousand employees on its payroll.
