WAUSAU -- Congressman Dave Obey has penned his memoirs.
The longest serving Congressman in Wisconsin unveiled "Raising Hell For Justice" Tuesday night at Janke Books in Wausau.
The book chronicles Obey's life from his days as the young boy of factory-working parents to becoming a political force in Washington.
Obey has witnessed a lot of political challenges and changes during his tenure.
Attorney General Alberto Gonzales stepping down is just another.
Rep. Dave Obey says, "He simply did not administer the law in a way which was fair and just and I think he brought disrepute to the USA by the way he twisted our rules."
The Congressman says it took him 14 drafts and 3 and a half years to hand write the book.
His wife Joan typed it into the computer.
