Obstetrics & Gynecology Nurse Practitioner
Sherrie Gilbert believes in looking at all aspects of a patient's well being. She works with women in charting a road map for improved health by reviewing family history, exercise, diet, social and emotional issues, breast cancer and cardiovascular risks - anything that can affect a patient's life. She then collaborates with each patient to develop a specific plan for better health care.
Sherrie joined Marshfield Clinic because of the deep expertise of the staff and their belief that a patient's needs come first. She points out that the referral system and easy access to specialists play a key role in formulating treatment plans for her patients.
While a registered nurse, Sherrie felt the need to grow and went back to graduate school at the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh. She received a masters in Family Nursing through their accredited Nurse Practitioner program. She is currently working to attain certification in adult sexual counseling.
Sherrie and her husband of more than 30 years are active in the Sports Club and enjoy spending time with their family. She also teaches educational classes at her local church.
