WAUSAU(WAOW)-The past thirteen years UW-Marathon County hosts a boys high school summer basketball league. They wrap up the session Tuesday night with a handful of title games.  This off-season schedule gives players a chance to sharpen their skills and UWMC a chance to check out local talent, but it's still all about working hard and having fun.

Says Wausau West Head Coach Jeff Bruggink, "Just play hard, just play hard, compete, don't worry about winning and losing and just give an all out effort all the time, that's all you ask for."

UW-Marathon County Head Coach Bill Gibbs says, "It's a little bit more relaxed so it's a lot of fun for them. During the season it's realaxed, but here when it's playoff time they tighten up and it's pretty intense basketball."

Wausau East wins the large school varsity division, Pacelli wins the small school varsity, DC Everest clinches the jv league and Marion takes the frosh-soph division.
