TOMAHAWK (AP/WAOW) -- A company spokesman says a storage tank exploded at the Packaging Corp. of America mill near Tomahawk.
Ron Zimmerman says up to 10 people were working in the area Tuesday afternoon but he had no word on whether anyone was hurt.
He says there was no fire. The tank was used to store a product used to make paper at the mill.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department did not immediately return a telephone message. Packaging Corp. makes containerboard and corrugated packaging.
Its headquarters are in Lake Forest, Illinois.
The company says the Tomahawk mill has three semi-chemical corrugating machines and produces more than 572 million tons annually.
