WAUSAU(WAOW)-The Woodchucks fell behind 3-0 to Battle Creek Tuesday night and then began to chip away at the lead one run at a time.

The squad recorded RBI singles in both the 5th and 6th to make it a one run game and then in the bottom of the 7th Carson Vitale nailed one over the right-center wall to tie it at 3.  The game remained a tie until the 9th inning when the Bombers' bats came back to life.  With two on for Parker Berberet he doubled to center allowing both runs to score.  The Chucks got a pair of runners on in the bottom of the 9th with just one out, but were unable to put another tally on the board.  The Chucks are home again tomorrow against Battle Creek.
