Brewer fans are confident

WAUSAU (WAOW) -- Although the Crew didn't pull a win out, fans are sure they'll do it next time.  And many Brewers fans have never seen the team get this far.  That's because the team hasn't made it to the playoffs for 26 years.

This group of 20 something's are Brewer fans to the core.  Although, since most of them have been alive, their favorite team hasn't made it past the regular season.

Jon Krause says, "It's exciting. I grew up a Brewers fan. I grew up, actually, in Racine so I went to plenty of games at County Stadium and Miller Park. This is the first time I get to see them play in October."

Andy Osowski says, "It's exciting. I've been watching them for year and to see this, it's a big deal."

These fans are confidant the Crew can win the division series and move into the league championship.  Even though they're facing the Philly's a team that just swept them in a series two weeks ago.

Osowski says, "It's the playoffs. It's a new season."

Krause says, "Of course it's going to be in the back of their minds. I think they take it one game at a time like they should."

And they say it's lucky that in the next game C.C. Sabathia is set to take the mound.

Krause says, "They got C.C. this year. They're probably going to lose him next year. So, this is pretty much their shot. If we don't make it, I don't know if we're going to be able to make the post season next year."

But in true Brewer fashion these fans remain optimistic.

Osowski says, "I'm not worried. They'll come through. I'm a true Brewers fan. You gotta come through."
