WAUSAU (WAOW)--This week's winner is the chemistry classes at Wausau West High School!
The students celebrated National Mole Day last week.
The celebration is an ongoing way of generating excitement for the study of chemistry, all across the country.
The students kicked off their MOLYMPICS with events ranging from the mole water relay, pin the nose on the mole, mole of aluminum sculptures, and much more.
The students also have been working on extra credit activities such as sewing stuffed celebrity moles, such as hannah mole-tana and marilyn mon-mole.
They also made snacks like mole-lasses and guacamole.
This is a great example of students and faculty getting excited about academics through a fun, and creative activity that the chemistry students are sure to remember for years to come.
