The House that Love Built

Families with a seriously ill child face many challenges. The Ronald McDonald House offers families a comfortable place to stay while their child is receiving medical attention at Marshfield Clinic or Saint Joseph's Children's Hospital.

Marshfield's House is a charming two-story brick home located across the street from Saint Joseph's Children's Hospital and Marshfield Clinic so parents can be immediately available - day or night - should their child need them.

Children receiving outpatient treatment may stay here with their parents to be close to the medical facility. In addition to their private room, parents will find a warm comfortable setting where they can rest, prepare a hot meal and perhaps as important, share their concerns and experiences with other parents in similar situations.

Our Ronald McDonald House has the capacity to lodge 10 families. Not just for sleeping, the House helps ease the financial burden by providing generously stocked kitchen and laundry facilities, a pleasant sunroom, comfortable living rooms, and an outdoor deck and play area-all for a minimal nightly fee. With our new elevator, it is also handicap accessible.
