A visitation was held Monday night for the young mother allegedly murdered by her ex-boyfriend in Oneida County two weeks ago.

Her loved ones, remembering 26-year-old Hannah Miller, as police say her former boyfriend, Christopher Anderson, is still on the loose.

A devoted mother, daughter, cousin, and friend is how those who knew her will remember Hannah Miller.

"Hannah was very kind sweet caring she would do anything for anybody, she loved everybody so much, had a heart of gold," said Brooke Camacho, who is Miller's cousin.

"She would've stopped the world for her daughter, that's truly who Hannah was," said Lexy Huven, a close friend of Miller's.

"She was such a bright light, and the first tattoo us three actually got... she went and got happiness tattooed on her foot, and she always said no matter her situation she was choosing to be happy," said Ali Hoffhein, who has been a friend of Miller for more than 20 years. "She was so fearless."

A contagious personality couple with a bright smile is now just lingering memories.

"Hannah never turned her back on anybody," said Huven. "She had so much love in her heart, she shared all her talents with the world, she made sure she was great at figure skating at the state level and taught children all the time. She was amazing, just a kind person that truly didn't deserve this."

Miller was taken away on June 30th, after she was allegedly shot by her former boyfriend and left on the side of the road near highway 8 in Pelican.

"It's devastating to know that somebody has so much hate and malice in their heart," said Huven.

Family and friends said Christopher Anderson was abusive toward Miller before her death.

"She was just so unconfrontational and nice and caring and I think that he took advantage of that," said Cousin, Chelsea Miller. "It can happen to anybody, she did everything right she took all the right steps, but sometimes it's just not enough."

Authorities said Anderson planned for weeks to kill Miller, her parents, and then take their child.

"Nova was her world, and she wanted a better life for her and Nova and was trying to get away," said Camacho.

"It's crazy to think he would want to take that away from her and didn't think about her in the process of any of this," added Chelsea.

As dozens of her loved ones gathered to mourn, extra security measures in place, with Anderson still on the run.

"It's terrifying he's still out there, terrifying for our entire family," said Chelsea.

"We are still in shock, still grieving, we play scenarios in our mind, try to put the puzzle together, nothing makes sense, he could be anywhere," said Camacho.

Grieving while also seeking justice for Hannah.

"Please, please turn yourself in and make it better on your daughter she didn't deserve this, and either did Hannah, just think of her please and do the right thing," said Hoffhein.

Trying to wrap their heads around how their beloved daughter, friend, mom, and cousin is gone.

"I think he's being a coward, and he needs to do the right thing, and get this family closure, especially for his daughter," said Camacho. "Life is going to live through Nova, and we're going to make sure she knows how great her mom was."

There has been another person arrested in connection to Miller's death. Authorities said Seth Wakefield helped Anderson plot Miller's Murder. He is in custody right now.
