Holy Name of Jesus Parish

WAUSAU, Wis. (WAOW)-- The Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Wausau is celebrating 75 years of faith.

The congregation honored their years of community service with a weekend of fun. Featuring a concert, pig roast, auction and more.

Father Sam Martin says the parish is like a family.

“But they (Holy Name of Jesus Parish) ran a school they formed citizens that ended up serving their community, raising families, bringing kids into the world. “ Martin said, “all sorts of happy holy things that originated here. “

The money raised for this weekend will be going towards church renovations.
