GREEN BAY, Wis. (WAOW)-- Prevea Health and Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers have ended a partnership between the two.

WBAY-TV first reported the story.

The decision to end the partnership became effective starting on Saturday. Rodgers had been a spokesperson for Prevea Health since 2012.

The announcement on Saturday comes one day after Aaron Rodgers appeared on the Pat McAfee Show and made his first comments since testing positive for COVID-19.

Rodgers says that he has an allergy to an ingredient that is in the mRNA vaccines that led to him not getting the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines

He said his only option was the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and decided against that due to the vaccine being pulled for having clotting issues.

Rodgers went on to say during his appearance on the show on Friday, that he looked into and talked to a lot of medical individuals and found that there was an immunization protocol that he thought he could go to to best protect himself and his teammates, and that it was a long term protocol.
