MADISON, Wis. (WAOW)-- The Wisconsin Badgers football team plays host to the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday and the game can be watched on WAOW.
Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.
The game features programs headed in the opposite directions.
Wisconsin started the season 1-3 while Nebraska started with a record of 2-2.
Since Wisconsin's loss to Michigan on October 2, the Badgers have won six straight games scoring a combined 188 points in the stretch and holding opponents to a combined 44 points.
Credit for part of the Badgers resurgence can go to freshman running back Braelon Allen. He's ran the ball 118 times for 842 yards and nine touchdowns.
Quarterback Graham Mertz, who's received criticism at time this season, has been more careful with the football. In the first four games he threw six interceptions and two touchdowns. During the Badgers' six game win streak, he's thrown six touchdown passes with three interceptions.
In Paul Chryst's seven seasons leading the Wisconsin football program he has a record of 63-22 overall and a record of 5-1 in bowl games.
Nebraska is 15-27 in four season with Scott Frost at the helm and haven't appeared in a bowl game in those four seasons.
WAOW will also air a 30 minute pregame show at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
