...DENSE FOG EXPECTED AT TIMES THROUGH DAYBREAK...

Patchy dense fog began to develop across north-central Wisconsin
Tuesday evening. The fog is expected to expand south and east
overnight as skies clear. The fog will reduce the visibility to
less than 1/4 mile at times, resulting in hazardous travel
conditions.

Motorists should exercise caution, especially in low-lying areas
where the visibility can vary substantially over short distances.

If you encounter dense fog while driving, be sure to use your
low-beam headlights and maintain plenty of distance between your
vehicle and other vehicles. Allow extra time to reach your
destination, and drive at a speed that will allow you to safely
maneuver your vehicle around any object or animal you unexpectedly
encounter on the road.

The fog is expected to burn off after sunrise.

UPDATE: Crash cleared at Portage-Wood County line

UPDATE: The crash has been cleared and the lanes are back open.

(WAOW)-- A crash has all westbound lanes blocked at the Portage-Wood County line. 

The Wisconsin DOT says the US-10 westbound lanes near Milladore will be closed for close to an hour. 

Westbound traffic can go south on Wisconsin 13/34, West on County Road P, North on County Road N. Eastbound traffic in reverse.
