The Biden administration is increasing federal support for COVID-19 testing for schools in a bid to keep them open amid the omicron surge. The initiative comes after Chicago public schools closed for days amid an impasse between teachers and officials over reopening policies.

WISCONSIN (WKOW) -- Governor Tony Evers' administration, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and the Department of Public Instruction sent a letter to all school districts in the state, outlining tools available to help with mitigating the impact of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in the classroom.
